Urgently Needed -- Board Members for 2010
With the end of the year quickly approaching, we are seeking volunteers to
run for the STC-SAZ council. Kathy Rea, our current VP, has volunteered to
run for election as our chapter president. However, she can't run the group
by herself. Unless a minimum of 2 more people come forward, the STC-SAZ cannot
do business next year. We need at least 3 people to serve as our volunteer
council officers.
WHAT DO YOU GET AS A BOARD MEMBER?
- A chance to change or improve STC-SAZ
- A chance to work with a great Board
- A chance to put professional skills to use
- A nice activity to add to your resume
Time Commitment:
- January to December 2009
- One planning meeting per month, usually about 1.5 hours
- Additional hours, depending on the tasks you help with
Positions Needed:
- Treasurer
- Vice President
We could also use Members at large and a Web master.
